Elmus Gray Gray Pegram

HENDERSON- Elmus Gray Pegram, 82, of Newton Dairy Road, died Saturday, December 05, 2020 at Maria Parham Health.Born in Vance County on February 7, 1938, he was the son of the late William Elmus Pegram and Lucy Elizabeth Harris Pegram and was the widower of Betty Lou Sanford Pegram.Mr. Pegram was retired from Carolina Power & Light.He was a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church and the Men's Sunday School Class.
A private graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Cokesbury United Methodist Church by Rev. Tracy Sexton.
He is survived by two daughters, Donna P. Boyd (Keith) of Henderson and Patricia P. Woodlief (Allen) of Norlina; two sons, Ronnie Dale Pegram (Janet) of Henderson and Randy Gray Pegram (Crystal) of Oxford; one sister, Rose Floyd of Durham; one brother, Jerry Pegram of Henderson; ten grandchildren, Judith Pegram, Matthew Pegram (Gina), Shannon Talley (Jeremy), Thomas Boyd (Morgan), Kristen Waters (Logan), Tori Woodlief, Kara Pegram, Trey Woodlief, Stephanie Pegram and Jonathan Boyd; and three great grandsons, Jackson Boyd, Grayson Abbott and Cecil Talley.
In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Mary Abbott, Rachel Abbott, Lottie Collier and Peggy Pegram; and two brothers, William Pegram and Wheeler Pegram.
