Eloise Harris Richardson

HENDERSON-Eloise Harris Richardson, 66, a resident of Henderson, died Friday, December 20, 2019 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice in Wilmington.Born in Warren County on July 1, 1953, she was the daughter of the late William Lee Harris and Mattie Hicks Harris.Eloise worked for Variety Wholesalers for nearly 50 years and retired from there as an imports specialist.She was also a member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir, served as a Sunday School teacher and was a member of the Ruth Circle.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 23, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Tabernacle United Methodist Church by Rev. David Pate.Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Eloise is survived by two daughters, Emily R. Hunsaker and husband David, of Rocky Point, and Mindy R. Nemargut and husband William of Wilmington; a granddaughter, Grace; two grandsons, Liam and Dylan; two brothers, William Harris, Jr. and wife Sarah and Jerry Harris and wife Barbara; a nephew, Jason Harris; and her fiance, David Reavis of Henderson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Richardson.
The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall of the church.
