Ernest Edward Gooch, Jr.

HENDERSON-Ernest Edward Gooch, Jr., 55, a resident of 804 Eastway Drive, died Friday, March 22, 2019 at his home.Born on February 9, 1964 in Wake County, he was the son of the late Ernest Edward Gooch, Sr. and Janie Pipkins Gooch Kimball.Ernest was medically retired form Rosemart Stores (Rose Oil Company) where he worked for 35 years, and was a member of Liberty Christian Church.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 25, 2019 at 2 pm at Liberty Christain Church by the Rev. Caroline Allen.Burial will follow in the church cemetry.
He is survived by one brother, James Edward Gooch of the home; two sisters, Gracie G. Newton and Eloise G. Hair of Henderson; special friends, Mike Wheeler and Tony Verdine; his beloved pet Beulah; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends immediately following the interment in the Fellowship Hall at Liberty Christian Church.
