Ernestine Robbins Stell

HENDERSON-Ernestine Robbins Stell, age 76, a resident of 514 S. Cooper Drive, died Friday, December 2, 2011 at Maria Parham Medical Center.Born on July 22, 1935 in Brunswick Co., NC, she was the daughter of the late James Waddell Robbins and Anna Myrick Jarrell.Mrs. Stell was a retired nursery school teacher, and a former employee of Kentucky Fried Chicken.She was a member of White Memorial United Methodist Church and the Prayer and Share Group.
Graveside services will be held Sunday at 3:00 pm at Sunset Gardens by Elliotte Pearson.
She is survived by one daughter, Lois Stell Williams of Henderson; two sons, Walter Henry Stell, II and wife Deborah of Troy, Alabama and Charles Latney Stell and wife Trudy, of Henderson; one sister, Mary Cleaton of Henderson; nine grandchildren, Melissa Pearson and husband Elliotte, Craig Hight and wife Lynda, Jason Williams and wife, Jill, JohnWilliams and wife Holly, Megan Stell, Lee Stell, Audie Stell, Allison Stell, Susie Stell; nine great grandchildren, Rachel Pearson, Alex Pearson, Luke Pearson, David Pearson, Calyn Hight, Rylon Hight, Noah Williams, Ethan Williams, and Grant Williams; and two cousins that were like her siblings, Patsy Joyner Mason and Donnie Joyner..In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Walter Henry Stell; one daughter, Carolyn Stell Hight; and one great grandchild, Garion Hight.
The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1:00 pm until 2:45 PM at J. M. White Funeral Home.
