Estelle Hester Creech

HENDERSON- Estelle Adeline Hester Creech, 100, of Satterwhite Point Road, died Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at a local nursing home. Born March 1, 1923 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Polk Hester and Mae Spainhour Hester and the widow of Walter Ralph Creech. Mrs. Hester was a member of Flat Rock United Methodist Church and retired from the former Southern National Bank. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Flat Rock United Methodist Church by Rev. Robin Farner. Mrs. Creech is survived by her daughter, Brenda C. Richardson of Henderson. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Walter Ralph Creech, Jr. and a grandson, Michael Ray Gantt. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall of Flat Rock United Methodist Church and at other times at the home.
