Esther Marie Parks Brewer, age 59, a resident of 1245 Park Ave., died Monday, June 09, 2014 at Granville Medical Center.
Born on April 22, 1955 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late June Cooper Knight and Rosa Lee Parks Knight of Henderson. She was a retired nurses aid at a local nursing home.
She is survived by her mother, Rosa Lee Parks of Henderson; two sisters, Geneva Boxer of Charlotte, North Carolina and Shelia Carter of Henderson; three brothers, Larry Parks, J.C. Knight, and James Knight all of Henderson; three daughters, Amy Ford of Tucson, Arizona, Buffy Ford of Henderson, and Elizabeth Pendergrass of Henderson; and five grandchildren.
