Ethel Marie Williams Hansen, 81, of 845 Spring Valley Road, died Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Maria Parham Health.Born in Grayson County, KY on November 28, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Cecil Decker Williams and Dewey Raymond Williams.She was a retired nurses aid and member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM in the chapel of J.M. White Funeral Home by Dr. Donnie Perkinson.Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
Ethel is survived by her husband, Donald Hansen of the home; two daughters, Nadine White, and Nicole Neal; three sons, Garry Hardin, Floyd Hardin, and Thomas Hardin; a step-son, Donald Hansen; and three step-daughters, Diane Hansen, Rebecca Welch, and Pam Kinniburg, thirteen brothers and sisters Ruby, Clara, Elizabeth, Mary, Remona, Carol, James, Henry, Thomas, Richard, Russell, Kenny and Robert. twenty-nine grandchildren, fifty-two great- grandchildren and two Great-great- grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-mother, Vena Mae Hack Williams; and a step-son, Richard Hansen, two sisters Anna Faye and Nancy Elizabeth, two brothers Alvey and Floyd, and one great-grandson Christopher Dale ONeal.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 till 2:00 PM at J.M. White Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Floyd Hardin, Sr. Floyd Hardin, Jr., Jamie Lovitt, Will Hofheimer, Cory Blanchard, Jonathan Rudolph, Jamel Kearney and Cedric Durham.
