Fanny Owen Edwards, 89, a former resident of 1114 College Street, died Saturday, August 10, 2013, at Meadowview Terrace in Clarksville, VA.Born in Granville County on April 4, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Eddie Washington Owen and Mary Elizabeth Eastwood Owen, and was the widow of Wilbert Allen Edwards.
Fanny was a member of Stovall Baptist Church and was retired from the Granville County Chamber Of Commerce where she worked for 43 years.
Graveside services will be held Monay at 11:00 AM at Fuller Chapel United Church Of Christ in Vance County by the Rev. D. L. Page, Jr. and the Rev. Tammy Ayscue.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Nannie Leigh Owen and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:30 until 11:00 am in the Fellowship Hall of Fuller Chapel United Church Of Christ.
