Frances Dillard Gibson

Frances Marie Dillard Gibson, 87, of Old Epsom Road, died Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at Franklin Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born January 14, 1935 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Pridie Currin Dillard and Cleveland Dillard and the widow of Ervin David Gibson, Sr. She was a residential nurse’s aide. Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the Dillard Family Cemetery by Rev. Jeff Prewer. Frances is survived by two sons, Ervin D. Gibson, Jr. of Henderson and Paul William Gibson of the home; a daughter, Bertie Faith Gibson West of Henderson; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by four sisters; and two brothers; and a great grandson. The family will receive friends after the service on Saturday at the Dillard Family Cemetery and at other times, at the home, 1441 Old Epsom Road, Henderson, NC 27537
