Frances Kay Roberson West, age 65, a resident of 515 S. Cooper Drive, died Wednesday December 6, 2017, at her home.Born on March 2, 1952 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Ollie Roberson and Julia Collins Roberson, and was the widow of Larry Sidney West.She was the manager of the former Beckhams Barbeque and Seafood. She was a member of South Henderson Church of God where she was assistant teacher for the childrens Sunday school class.
A memorial service will be held Sunday at 2 pm at South Henderson Church of God by the Rev. Jonathan Fuson, the Rev. Gary Harper, Heather Montgomery, and Harvey Harris.
She is survived by one sister, Phyllis R. Roberson of Mt. Airy, Maryland and 14 nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Ollie Vance Roberson.
The family will receive friends following the service in the Fellowship Hall of South Henderson Church of God.At other times they will be at the home of Alvin and Alice Johnson, 223 Shank Street.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to South Henderson Church of God, 125 J.P. Taylor Road, Henderson, NC 27537.
