Frances Steed Peoples

Frances Steed Peoples, 80, a resident of Bracey, Virginia, died Monday, April 11, 2022 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill. Born on January 25, 1942 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Steed and Susan Twisdale Steed. She was a retired supervisor at Lauren’s Glass Co. and was a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church. Memorial services will be held Friday, April 15, 2022 at 2:00 in the J. M. White Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Daniel Blasky and the Rev. Sean Kavanagh. She is survived by her husband, Russell Greene “R.G.” Peoples of the home; one step-son, Michael Scott Peoples and wife, Tina of Four Oaks; one sister, Tammy Steed Palmieri and husband, Robert, of Oxford; one step-granddaughter, McKayla Breeze Peoples; two special nieces, Allison Paige Hight of Sanford and Megan Elizabeth Hight of Wilmington; and her two beloved cats, Boo Boo and Prissy. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday from 1:00 until 2:00 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home.
