HENDERSON-Frances Maytlon Polston, age 85, a resident of 1611 Parker Lane, died Friday, June 24, 2011, at her home.Born in Wake County on February 22, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Henry Marshall Polston and Frances Church Polston.
Miss Polston was a member of The Church of The Holy Innocents where she was a member of the Tabitha Guild, the Episcopal Church Women, and the Altar Guild, and had formerly served on the Vestry.
A memorial service will be held Monday at 2:00 pm at The Church of The Holy Innocents by the Rev. Donald A. Lowrey.
She is survived by one sister, Helen Church Miles of Salisbury, NC; one nephew, Robert Marshall Jones; and one niece, Charlotte Elizabeth Jones.
The family will receive friends Monday immediately following the service in the Great Hall of The Church of The Holy Innocents.At other times they will be at the home at 1611 Parker Lane.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Church of The Holy Innocents Restoration Fund, 210 S. Chestnut Street, Henderson, N. C.27536.
