Frances Harp Roberson, age 80, a resident of 3060 Kelly Road, died Tuesday, January 20, 2015.Born in Vance County on March 1, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Genie Marvin Harp and Jamie Grissom Harp, and was the widow of Melvin D. Roberson.
She was a member of Harris Chapel United Methodist Church where funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00AM by Pastor Glenn Stallsmith.Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by three daughters, Donna R. Edwards, Janice R. Cummings, and Roxie R. Fox; one son, Dennis Roberson; one sister, Edna Harp King; two brothers, Alton Harp and Hartwell Harp; eleven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 9:30 AM till 11:00 AM at Harris Chapel United Methodist Church.
Serving as pall bearers will be Damian Edwards, Corey Edwards, Chance LeBron, Jacob Boyd, James Boyd and Christopher Brooks.
