Frances Ellington Robinson, age 74, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2017 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC.She was being cared for by Spring Arbor Alzheimers Memory Care in Rock Hill, SC that is near her son in Charlotte.Frances was born in Vance County on January 29, 1943 to the late W. Henry Ellington and Eula Mae Ellington of Middleburg.She lived in Henderson most of her life and moved to the Charlotte area in December 2011 for memory care.She was married to the late T. Bruce Robinson for 38 years.She is survived by her son Darryl Robinson and wife, Evie; grandson, Chad all of Charlotte; and a brother ,Bill Ellington of NC.She retired from Universal Leaf Tobacco Company where she worked for 18 years as a Data Entry Clerk.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017, at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel at J.M. White Funeral Home, by Rev. Bob Inskeep.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at J.M. White Funeral Home.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in her name to the Alzheimers Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, D.C. 20090-6011.
