Frances King Vaughan

HENDERSON-Frances King Vaughan, 79, a resident of 275 Vaughan Road, went to be with to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, February 22, 2017.Born on March 2, 1937 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Russel King and Ava Pauline Harris King.
Frances was a homemaker and a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church where funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 pm by the Rev. Julia Alliger. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.She is survived by two sons, William Nelson "Bud" Vaughan, III(Sandy) of Hendeson and Christopher Blake Vaughan (Melina) of, Cloverdale VA; one sister, BetsyK. Pegram of Winston-Salem; three grandchildren, William N. "Buddy" Vaughan, IV, Christina Hales, and Blake Vaughan; and five great grandchildren, Makenzie Vaughan, Matthew Vaughan, Taylor Jackson, Victoria Vaughan, and Lucas Berry.She was preceded in death by her husband , William Nelson Vaughan, Jr.;two brothers, James H. King and Maurice King; and two sisters, Ruby K. Wade and Dorothy K. Mowry.
The family will receive friends Saturday night from 7 until 8:30 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at the home of Bud and Sandy Vaughan, 224 Vaughan Road.
Serving as active pall bearers will be Larry Hales, George Wheeler Pegram, Jr., Randy Pegram, Johnny Berry, Gary Jones, Bill Best, and Dale Fleming.
