Frances Lovelace Vernon

HENDERSON- Frances Lovelace Vernon, age 90, a resident of Henderson and formerly of Eden and Warrenton, died Sunday, December 3, 2017 at her home.Born in Wilkes County on October 22, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Lovelace and Minnie Hunt Lovelace.Mrs. Vernon was a member of First United Methodist Church, where a memorial service will be held Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 2:00 PM by Rev. Terry Huffines.
She is survived by two daughters, Ann Vernon Gainey Pinto of Greensboro and Julia Vernon Myers and husband Barry of Raleigh; and two granddaughters, Emily Myers and Catherine Myers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Broadus Gordon Vernon.
The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall of the church following the service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, 114 Church St, Henderson, NC 27536.
