FRANK A. GANTT, SR.
KITTRELL-Frank Armstead Gantt, Sr., age 81, a resident of 1248 Julie McKnight Road, died Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at Maria Parham Medical Center.Born on February 18, 1929 in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late George Gantt and Ruth Hamlin Gantt. He was a Veteran of the United States Army serving during World War 11, and was a retired Superintendent for the Fairfax County Garage in Fairfax, Virginia.
He is survived by one daughter, Joy Gantt, of Herndon, Virginia; three sons, David Gantt of Sterling, Virginia, Frank J.R. Gantt, Jr. of Tampa, Florida, and Michael Gantt of San Diego, California; one brother, Lloyd Gantt of Colonial Beach, Virginia; one sister, Rosemary G. May of Culpeper, Virginia; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild.He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Jean Barker Gantt.
The family will have a private burial in Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Herndon, Virginia;
