-Frederick Earl Vick, Sr., age 77, a resident of 2475 Stewart Farm Road, died Tuesday, August 21, 2012, at his home.Born in Vance County on May 5, 1935, he was the son of the late Joseph Oscar Vick and Algie Duke Vick.Fred was a retired Veteran of the United States Air Force and the City Of Henderson Water Department.He was a member of New Sandy Creek Baptist Church.
Graveside services with Military Honors will be held Thursday at 2:00 pm at Sunset Gardens by the Rev. Tim Burgess.
He is survived by one son, Frederick Earl Vick, Jr. of Henderson; one brother, Joseph Wayne Vick of Henderson; one grandchild; and two great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his wife, Delores Thompson Vick; and one grandchild.
The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 7:00 until 8:30 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at the home at 2475 Stewart Farm Road.
