HENDERSON- Gail Walker Thompson, age 63, a resident of 2000 Ruin Creek Road, died Thursday, November 17, 2011, at her home.Born in Dodge County Georgia on June 1st, 1948, she was the daughter of Vivian Cannington Walker of Henderson and Birdie Walker of Louisburg.Mrs. Thompson was a radiology technician at the Durham VA Hospital.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the J.M. White Funeral Home chapel by Rev. Alex Brooks Thompson.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Chubby Lee Thompson of the home; a daughter, Joy Thompson Wrenn of Henderson; a son, Travis Thompson of Henderson; and three grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke, Box 3624-DUMC, Durham, NC 27710.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00 PM prior to the service at J.M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at the home at 2000 Ruin Creek Road.
