OXFORD-Gerald Claiborne Daniel, Jr., 48, died Friday, July 27, 2018, at his home.Born on July 4, 1970 in Mecklenburg Co., Virginia, he was the son of Gerald Jerry Claiborne Daniel, Sr. of the home and Linda Reekes Parrish of Wilson.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 4, 2018, at 2 pm in the J. M. White Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Perry Sharpe.
In addition to his mother and father, he is survived by his step-father, Craig Parrish of Wilson; three daughters, Brooke Daniel, Rachel Daniel, and Elizabeth Daniel all of Henderson; two sons, Thomas Daniel and Alex Daniel of Henderson; and one sister, Cheryl Daniel (Johnny) of Henderson; his Aunts and Uncles, Brenda Tucker of Lawrenceville VA, Tommy Reekes (Donna) of White Plains VA, David Daniel (Brenda) of Hopewell VA, and Bane Daniel of Hopewell VA.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday from 12:30 until 1:50 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home.
