KITTRELL- Mr. Gilbert Luther Bullock, age 78, a resident of Kittrell, died Monday, March 10, 2014 at his home.Born in Wake County on April 23, 1935 he was the son of the late Willie Luther Bullock and Dixie Brantley Bullock.He was a Veteran of the U. S. Army and was a self-employed electrician.
A memorial service with Military Honors will be held Saturday March 15, 2014 at 2:00 PM at New Hope Baptist Church by Rev. Henry Abbott.
He is survived by his wife, Sabrina Lynn Bullock; four daughters, Penny Bullock Burke of Kittrell, Mercedes Bullock of Spring Lake, Jean ONeal of Thief River Falls, MN, and Selena Bullock of Kittrell; a sister, Gloria Lane Foy and husband Ray of Raleigh; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Gilbert Luther Bullock, Jr. and two brothers, Edwin Bullock and Joel Bullock.
The family will receive friends Saturday prior to the service from 1:00 PM till 2:00PM at New Hope Baptist Church.
