HENDERSON- Mrs. Ginger Wilson Pendergrass, age 82, a resident of 67 Barham Lane, died Monday, September 18, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family.Born in Vance County on September 7, 1935 she was the daughter of the late James Allison Williams and Beulah Irene Smith.She was retired from Vance Granville Community College where she worked as the chief examiner in the G.E.D. program.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM in the chapel of J.M. White Funeral Home by Rev. Frank Sossamon.A private burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
She is survived by four daughters, Kelly Eaves and husband James and Rossie Atkins and husband Ronnie of Henderson, Velvet Driver and husband Junior and Tifany Owens of Louisburg; ten grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lewis Johnny Pendergrass; and one daughter, Sandra Cates.
Arrangements are by J.M. White Funeral Home.
