Glenda Stephenson Pendergrass

HENDERSON- Glenda Christine Stephenson Pendergrass, 57, of Vincent Hoyle Road, died Friday, August 12, 2022 at her home. Born August 10, 1965 in Lee County, she was the daughter of the late Melvin D. Stephenson and Christine Chambers Stephenson. She was a member of Westwood Pentecostal Holiness Church where funeral services will be held Tuesday, August l6, 2022 at 11:00 AM by Rev. Daniel Blasky. Burial will follow at 2:00 PM in the Chambers Family Cemetery (748 Chambers Loop Road, Timberlake, NC 27583). Glenda is survived by her husband, Joseph W. Pendergrass, of the home; a son, Roy Satterwhite and wife, Samantha, of Henderson; a daughter, Samantha P. Shepherd and husband, A.D., of Henderson; a brother, Franklin Chambers and wife, Cathy, of Timberlake; a sister, Brenda Whitt of Timberlake; and seven grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Satterwhite; a daughter, Tabatha Pendergrass; and a sister, Renee Brown. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:30 until 8:00 PM at J.M. White Funeral Home and at other times at the home, 384 Vincent Hoyle Road, Henderson, NC 27537. Serving as pallbearers will be Joe Johnson, Michael Ellington, Bryon Evans, Adam Pegram, Cliff Pendergrass, Braeden Pendergrass, John-Paul Bresett and Jeff Pendergrass.
