OXFORD- Mrs. Gloria Frances Faulkner, age 65, a resident of 4514 Salem Road, Oxford, died Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. Born in Vance County on July 22, 1950 she was the daughter of the late Jessie Faulkner and Evelyn Beal Faulkner Jackson of Middleburg.She was a customer service representative with Wal Mart.
A memorial service will be held Friday at 11:00 AM at New Sandy Creek Baptist Church by Rev. Tim Burgess.
She is survived by her lifetime partner, Bruce Crews of Oxford; her daughter, Tobbie F. Bowden and husband Danny of Henderson; a granddaughter, Gina Edwards of Henderson; a brother, Jimmy Faulkner of Middleburg; and a sister, Tammy Fuller of Middleburg.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Mayo Clinic,
4500 San Pablo Rd. S., Jacksonville, FL 32224.
The family will receive friends at the home of Tobbie Bowden, 2919 Glebe Road, Henderson, NC 27537.
