Harold Edward Lloyd, age 73, a resident of 880 Coble Blvd. Apt. 17, died Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at Franklin Oaks Nursing and Rehab in Louisburg.Born in Granville County on January 26, 1938, he was the son of the late Edward Aston Lloyd and Elva Spain Lloyd.He was a retired truck driver and was of Baptist faith.Mr. Lloyd was a member of the Henderson Masonic Lodge AF & AM 229.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00 am in the J. M. White Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Frank Sossamon.Burial will follow in the Schuster Family Cemetery in Norlina.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel Burnett Schuster Lloyd of the home; two sons, Danny Lloyd and Ricky Lloyd both of Henderson; one brother, Ray Lloyd of Henderson; one sister, Faye L. Ellington of Henderson; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild
The family will receive friends Thursday night from 7:00 until 8:30 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at the home at 880 Coble Blvd. Apt. 17.
Serving as active pall bearers will be Rod Moss, Ronnie Currin, Scott Greenway, Jeremy Parrish, Ken Dickerson, and David Stokes.
