Harry "Rick" Richard Johnson, Jr

MOORESVILLE- Harry Richard “Rick” Johnson, Jr., 57, a resident of McKendree Rd. died Wednesday February 9, 2022 at his home. Born in Mecklenburg Co. on October 3, 1964, he was the son of the late Harry Richard Johnson, Sr. and the late Nancy Hall Johnson Hawks. Rick was formerly employed at D & D Transport Inc. in Concord for over 12 years. He was a certified scuba diver at one point, he enjoyed playing golf and was an avid pool player. Rick was a man that could light up the room with his smile and laughter, he was always the life of the party. He was loved as a father and family member. Rick is survived by his daughter, Leigha Merrick Johnson of North Carolina; two step-brothers Mike Hawks of Florida and Chuck Hawks of Arizona. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father Jim Hawks. No services are planned at the time.
