HENDERSON-Hilton Gregory Harris, 56, a resident of 231 D. Y. Hoyle Lane, died on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at U.N.C. Hospital.Born on October 16, 1962 in Vance County, he was the son of Annie Louise Day Faucette of Henderson and the late Ralph Harris.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 6:00 PM at J. M. White Funeral Home by the Rev. Wilbert Horton.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Shelia Parham Harris of Oxford; one sister. Sharon H. Sanford (Malcolm) of Henderson; one daughter, Hillary Harris of Rocky Point; one grandson, Christian Harris; two step-sons, Christopher Hart, and Daniel Marks; his niece, and nephews, Christopher Sanford, Amanda Gilleland, and Jeremy Weary; and his great nieces, Kaeli and Hayley.In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Carolyn H. Weary.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Wednesday from 4:30 until 6:00 PM at J. M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at the home of Sharon and Malcolm Sanford at 231 D.Y. Hoyle Lane.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made in Hilton’s memory to J. M. White Funeral Home, 60 Zeb Robinson Road, Henderson, NC27536.
