Hugh Johnson Ayscue, Jr., age 59, a former resident of Harriett Street, died Sunday, August 22, 2010 at Granville Medical Center. A native of Vance County, he was the son of the late Hugh Johnson Ayscue, Sr. and Dorothy Louise Leonard Ayscue.
He was a former Welder and Painter and use to attend Mt. Ararat Holiness Church.
A memorial service will be held tonight at 7:00 pm at Mt. Ararat Holiness Church by the Rev. Allen Ray Ayscue and the Rev. Charlie Chappell.
He is survived by four daughters Donna Ayscue Crowder, Tammy Louise Ayscue, and Elizabeth Hipkins all of Henderson and Jennifer Renee Ayscue of Warrenton; one son Hugh Johnson Ayscue, III of Warrenton; one sister Teresa Ayscue Gupton, of Henderson; one brother Danny Gene Ayscue of Henderson; and eight grandchildren.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service tonight at Mt. Ararat Holiness Church.
