HENDERSON- Hugh Roberson Hoyle, age 86, a resident of 26 Margie Lane (off the Spring Valley Lake Road) died Friday January 18, 2013 at his home.Born on March 26, 1926 in Vance County, he was the son of the late James Clifton Buddy Hoyle and Eva Wade Roberson Hoyle. Mr. Hoyle was a Veteran of the United States Navy, having served in World War II.He was the owner and operator of the former Hoyles Trucking and retired from Pilot Freight Carriers.Mr. Hoyle attended South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 AM in the J.M. White Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Frank Sossamon. Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
Mr. Hoyle is survived by his daughter, Ellen H. Moody and husband Steve; two sons, Hugh Randall Randy Hoyle and wife Deborah, and Stephen Alan Steve Hoyle all of Henderson; six grandchildren David Moody, Cathy M. White, Clay Hoyle, Derek Ellington, Ashley Hoyle, and Monti Gravitte; his sister, Pauline Polly H. ONeal and husband Loyd; and eight great grandchildren.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Margie Peoples Hoyle.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 AM till 11:00 AM at J.M. White Funeral Home and at other times they will be at the home, 26 Margie Lane, Henderson 27537.
Serving as pallbearers will be David Moody, Clay Hoyle, L.B. ONeal, Eddie Lee, Roger Clark, and Derek Ellington.
