Inez Harris Wall, age 101, a former resident of Coble Blvd., died Thursday, December 25, 2014, at Senior Citizens Nursing Home.Born on March 29, 1913 in Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late James Parry Harris and Joseph Estelle Blackley Harris, and was the widow of Clarence Peyton Wall.
Mrs. Wall was a member of West End Baptist Church, the Loyalty Bible Class, and the Lou Yates Missionary Circle.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 29, 2014, at 2 pm at West End Baptist Church by the Rev. J. P. Harris, Jr. and the Rev. Ralph E. McGowan.Burial will follow at Sunset Gardens.
She is survived by two sisters, Ruby H. Gall and Maurine H. Edwards (Preston) all of Henderson; and one brother, Rev. J. P. Jim Harris, Jr. (Pat) of Salisbury; and brother-in-law Graham Grissom of Norlina; one sister-in-law Elsie Harris of Franklinton; and many nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Lila Pleasants and Mildred Grissom; and one brother, Raymond Harris.
The family will receive friends on Monday prior to the service from 1 until 2 pm at West End Baptist Church.
Serving as active pall bearers will be the men of West End Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the West End Baptist Church Mission Fund, 619 Dabney Drive, Henderson, NC27536.
