Ivey Price Hunt

HENDERSON- Ivey Price Hunt, age 88, a resident of 1245 Park Avenue, died Monday March 4, 2013 at a local nursing home. Born on August 10, 1924 in Franklin County she was the daughter of the late Joseph M. Price and Chelcy Bowen Price. She was a homemaker and housewife.
A graveside funeral service will be held Thursday at 3:00 PM in Fairview Cemetery in Franklinton conducted by the Rev. Frank Sossamon.
She is survived by two daughters Pauline H. Barham of Henderson; and Christine H. Williams of Raleigh; eight grandchildren and a total of twenty-one great and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sons Claude Thomas Hunt, Jr., Clyde Earl Hunt; and George Michael Hunt; five sisters Nellie P. Pearce, Laura P. Doyle, Gladys P. Price, Helen P. Ray and Ruby P. Ray; two brothers Paul Price and Emmitt Price; and two grandsons.
The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 12:30 until 2:00 PM at J.M. White Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the home of Vance and Pauline Barham, 919 East Winder Street, Henderson.
