Technical Sergeant Jack Furman Stanley, age 79, a resident of 320 Fuller Road, Louisburg, died Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Maria Parham Medical Center.Born January 10, 1933 in Vance County, he was the son of the late Paul Cecil Stanley and Jacksie Ross Stanley.He was a retired Veteran of the United States Air Force where he served as a Technical Sergeant, and attended South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church.
A graveside funeral service with full military honors will be held Thursday at 2:00 PM at Elmwood Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Frank Sossoman.
Technical Sergeant Stanley is survived by his wife, Eileen Beeching Stanley of the home; two daughters, Mary Jane Stanley of Kittrell, and Kelly S. Bridge of Epsom; a son, Michael Allan Stanley of the home; a sister, Pauline Polly S. Fuller of Louisburg; a brother, Charles E. Pete Stanley of Oxford; and five grandchildren.He was preceded in death by a son, Kirk F. Russell; two sisters, Ruth S. Derby and Martha S. Currin; and a brother, Preston C. Stanley.
The family will receive friends after the service on Thursday at the cemetery and at other times they will be at the home, 320 Fuller Road in Louisburg.
