Jackie Gene Hawkins

HENDERSON-Jackie Gene Hawkins, age 68, a resident of Franklin Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Louisburg, and a former resident of Eaves Road, died Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.
Born in Anderson, SC on August 26, 1943, he was the son of the late Fred H. Hawkins and Isabel Gautier Hawkins.
Jackie was a Veteran of the United States Army and was a retired truck driver.He was of Baptist Faith.
Graveside services will be held Friday, July 13, 2012, at 11:00 AM in Oakwood Cemetery in Louisburg by the Rev. Frank Sossamon.
He is survived by one daughter, Kathy Ayscue of Epsom; one brother, William A. Hawkins of Calabash, NC; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the home of Kathy and Mike Ayscue at 527 Eaves Road.
Arrangements are by J. M. White Funeral Home.
