James Robert "Bobby" Bush

HENDERSON- James Robert “Bobby” Bush, 90, of Lynne Avenue, died Sunday, February 12, 2023 at Maria Parham Health. Born April 18, 1932 in Lexington County, SC, he was the son of the late Sarah Watkins Bush and James Felder Bush. He was retired from Roses, Inc. where he worked as a truck driver. Bobby was a member of West End Baptist Church and the Furman Cothran Sunday School Class. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at West End Baptist Church by Rev. Cade Patterson. Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Cyrus Bush of the home; and two sons, James R. Bush, Jr. of Raleigh and Cameron Cyrus Bush and wife, Barbara of Wilmington. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Evelyn Tuck, Norma Medlin and Karon Bush; and a brother, Roy Bush, Sr. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday at West End Baptist Church and at other times, at the home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West End Baptist Church, 619 Dabney Drive, Henderson, NC 27536.
