James Louis "Jimmy" Newman

HENDERSON- James Louis “Jimmy” Newman, 59, of Twelve Oaks Lane, died Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Granville Medical Center. Born in Vance County on January 23, 1963, he was the son of the late James Willie Newman, Jr. and Thelma Edwards Newman of the home. A memorial service will held Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at 7:00 PM in the chapel of J.M. White Funeral Home by Rev. Jeff Prewer. Interment will follow Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at 2:00 PM in Sunset Gardens Cemetery. In addition to his mother, Jimmy is survived by two sisters, Beverly N. Averette (Jimmy) of Oxford and Pamela N. Yarborough of Henderson; four nieces, Alicia Blankenship (Wesley), Michelle Riggan (Chris), Cheyenne Yarborough and Elizabeth- Ann Yarborough; a nephew, Darrell Averette (Madolin); three great nieces, Aubrey, Kadence, Lacy; and three great nephews, Gavin, Clark and Waylon. The family will receive friends Tuesday prior to the service from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM at J.M. White Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to J.M. White Funeral Home for the James L. Newman Funeral Fund, 60 Zeb Robinson Road, Henderson, NC 27536.
