James Edward Poole, Sr.

James E. Poole, Sr. HENDERSON- James Edward Poole, Sr., 72, of Rosebud Lane, died Sunday, September 14, 2025 at his home. Born March 23, 1953 in Vance County, he was the son of the late Joyce Edwards Poole and James Howard Poole. He retired from Harriett and Henderson where he worked as a sheet metal mechanic. A memorial service will be held Sunday, September 21, 2025 at 3:00 P.M. at Victory Baptist Church by Rev. Ricky Easter. James is survived by his wife, Rita Tingen Poole of the home; his daughter, Nikki Poole (Jerry); his son, Jimmy Poole (Crystal); three grandchildren, Michael Edwards, Josh Poole, Mekala Poole; and three great-grandchildren, Emma Edwards, Sophia Edwards and Kenley Edwards. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Tammy P. Stone. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Sunday from 2:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at Victory Baptist Church; and at other times at the home, 101 Rosebud Lane, Henderson, NC 27537.
