James Lenwood Tart

HENDERSON-James Lenwood Tart, age 84, died Sunday, October 20, 2013, in a local nursing home.Born on March 13, 1929 in Vance County, he was the son of the late Jim Tart and Bessie Mae Vowel Tart.He was the owner and operator of Henderson Heating & Air Conditioning Co., and was a member of Trinity Church Of The Living God.
Graveside services will be held today at 11 am at Sunset Gardens by Dr. Al James.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Harris Tart of the home; one sister, Julia Mae Nineow of Garner; one brother, Gilbert Tart of Raleigh; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Loretta T. Terry, Josephine T. Brewster, and Odell Tart.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Sunset Gardens.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Vance County Humane Society, P. O. Box 1552, Henderson, NC27536.
