Jane Lowry Church

HENDERSON- Jane Lowry Church, age 64, a resident of 315S. Woodland Road, died Monday July 25, 2011 at Maria Parham Medical Center.Born in Vance County on November 19, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Robert William Lowry and Cordelia Woodlief Lowry.She was formerly employed with Vance County Social Services and served as a volunteer on the Advisory Board of the Vance County United Way.She was a member of the First United Methodist Church where she was a member of Circle 4, the Friendly Christians Sunday School Class, and was active with the childrens choir program.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church by Rev. George D. Speake.Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, John T. Church, Jr. of the home; two sons, Eric Coghill of Oxford and Troy Coghill and daughter-in-law, Stephanie of Garner; one grandson, William Paul Coghil; and her caregivers, Mary Ann Hargrove and Rosemary Hayes .
The family will receive friends at the home at 315 S. Woodland Road on Wednesday from 7:00 until 8:30 PM.
Serving as active pall bearers will be Jon Juntunen, John Cannady, George Harvin, Wayne Gray,
Sylvester Allen, Jack Richardson, Robert Bass, John Church Bacon, and William Mangum Bacon, IV.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church Childrens Choir Fund, 114 Church Street, Henderson, NC27536, or to the Vance County United Way, 212 Dabney Drive, Henderson, NC 27536.
