Jane Jones Dickerson

MANSON – Jane Elizabeth Jones Dickerson, 77, of Manson, NC, died Monday, November 4, 2024, at her home. Jane was born October 10, 1947, in Bertie County, NC, to the late Mary Elizabeth Burkette Jones and Starkey Lebron Jones. She was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church in Boydton, Va, and formerly worked for Franklin Regional Medical Center as an RN for 20 years. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends Thursday November 7, 2024, at J. M. White Funeral Home from 6:30 until 8:00 PM. Jane is survived by her husband, Thurston Wayne Dickerson of the home; two daughters, Jamie Lynn Harris (Wesley) of Manson, and Paula D. Boddie (Bunn) of Nashville; a son, Michael Wayne Dickerson (Holly) of Raleigh; six grandchildren; a brother, Jimmy Jones (Cindy) of Pilot Moutain. In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by a son, Shelton H. Coggsdale, Jr., and a granddaughter.
