Jane Smith Duncan

Jane Smith Duncan, age 50, a resident of Henderson, died Friday, July 29, 2016, peacefully at her home.Born in Vance County on January 17, 1966, she was the daughter of Beatrice Hedgepeth Smith of Henderson and the late Add Smith.Jane was employed at Revlon as an EDI Administrator and was a member of South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 am at South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church by the Rev. Frank Sossamon.Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by two daughters, Kristie D. Corey (Adam) of Winterville and Casey Duncan of Knoxville, TN; two sisters, Lynn S. Woodlief (Alridge) of Henderson and Addie S. Batten (David) of Oxford; one brother Patrick Smith of Raleigh; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Sunday night from 6 until 8 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at the home.
Serving as active pall bearers will be Steve Pernell, Scott Pernell, Marc Ross, Jason Overby, Drew Woodlief and Jonathan Batten.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Instruments of Shining Hope Cancer Ministry, c/o South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church, 905 Americal Road, Henderson, NC27537.
