Jane Elizabeth O'Brien Norwood

HENDERSON- Jane Elizabeth O’Brien Norwood, 86, of Henderson, died February 3, 2022 at Granville Medical Center. Born April 18, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Katharine Norwood O’Brien and Crawford Sidney O’Brien and the widow of George Herbert Norwood. She was a homemaker and a lifetime member of Island Creek Baptist Church. A graveside funeral service will be held Sunday, February 6, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Island Creek Baptist Church by Rev. John Marshall Neathery and Rev. Johnny Yount. She is survived by two sons, George Anthony Norwood and wife, Betty, and Danny Joe Norwood and wife, Angela and one daughter, Katherine Lynne Williams and husband, Kenny; granddaughters, Frances Elizabeth Haithcock and husband, Chad, Amanda Dee Williams and husband, Jerold, Nora Lynne Hardenberger, and husband, Shane, Stephanie Barlett Stokes and husband, Jason, Kelli Rose Boyd and husband, Alan; one grandson, Kenneth Norwood Williams and wife, Jenna. Also surviving are nine great grandchildren she loved dearly and enjoyed being with, Austin Chase Haithcock, Avery Elizabeth Haithcock, Brody Cole Stokes, Emery Kate Stokes, Kollan Michael Hardenberger, Bentley Crawford Boyd, William Ray Boyd, Zachary Maddox Williams and Mac Norwood Williams. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded by one sister, Gertrude O’Brien Chandler and three brothers, Marion Sidney O’Brien, Walter Patrick O’Brien and Joseph Sidney O’Brien.
