Jane Jackson Parrott

HENDERSON- Jane Jackson Parrott, 100, of Oak Street, died Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at her home. Born March 27, 1923 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Zelma Breedlove Jackson and Luther Jackson and was the widow of Amos Dean Parrott. She was a member of First Baptist Church Henderson where she formerly taught Sunday school. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 2:30 P.M. by Rev. Randy Ayscue in the chapel of J.M. White Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Mrs. Parrott is survived by two daughters, Amy P. Knott of Henderson and Ann P. Bushnell (David) of Tega Cay, SC; a son, Amos Dean Parrott Jr. (Beth Hunsucker) of McColl, SC; three grandchildren, Benjamin Knott (Cynthia), Christina B. Workman (Trey) and Leslie P. Watts (Frankie); seven great-grandchildren, Ashlyn Knott, Caleb Knott, McKenzie Workman, Madison Workman, Ethan Ayscue, Haley Watts, Jade Creech (Zach Sharron) and Isabella Paddock; one great-great grandchild Paisley Sharron; and her caregivers, Martha Collins and Wendy Jordan. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, L.A. Jackson, Jr., Alice Tucker and Josephine Rowland. Serving as pallbearers will be Caleb Knott, Louis Sachs, David Tucker, Shields Tucker, Jacob Tucker, Trey Workman, and Forrest Hunsucker; and serving as honorary pallbearer will be Harold Tucker Jr. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday from 1:30 P.M. until 2:30 P.M. at J.M.
