HENDERSON-Jane Brown Pritchard, age 81, died on Wednesday, April 6, 2016.Born on August 15, 1934 in Murfreesboro, she was the daughter of the late Bynum Henry Brown and Grace Pearce Brown.Jane was a graduate of Salem College with a degree in Home Economics.She formerly worked as Home Economic Advisor with Carolina Power and Light Co. and later as a social worker for the State of North Carolina.
Jane was a member of First Baptist Church.
A private burial will be held at Elmwood Cemetery followed by a memorial service to be held in the Leathers Memorial Chapel at First Baptist Church at 11:00 am on Monday, by Dr. Ronald S. Cava and Dr. Marion D. Lark.
She is survived by two daughters, Catherine Pritchard and husband, Scott Mooneyham of Fayetteville and Martha Pritchard Branch and husband, Christopher of Richmond, Va; three grandsons, Will Mooneyham, Thomas Branch, and Matt Mooneyham; one sister, Grace Boone and husband, Woodie of Raleigh; one brother, Bynum Brown and wife, Shirley of Murfreesboro; and her nieces and nephew. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William White "Bill" Pritchard, Jr.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service on Monday in the Fellowship Hall at First Baptist Church.
