Jane Rich

HENDERSON - Jane Rich, 74, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2026. Born on September 30, 1951, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, Jane lived a life defined by quiet strength, deep compassion, and an abiding love for the world around her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary Rich, and her brother, Bob Rich. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life. Jane is survived by her daughters, Emily Stomps (Jim) and Elizabeth Wyatt (Mitch), who will all carry forward her kindness, resilience, and warmth. She was a devoted and joyful grandmother to Hannah Stomps, Camden Wyatt, and Brock Stomps, each of whom brought her endless pride. She also leaves behind her brother, Joe Rich, her sister, Mary Webb, and her loving niece, Marla Webb, with whom she shared a lifetime of laughter, stories, and unwavering family bonds. 

Jane found beauty in the simple and meaningful parts of life. She loved nature, art, books, the beach, gardening, and flowers - interests that reflected her gentle spirit and her appreciation for creativity and the outdoors. Whether tending to her garden, painting, or walking along the shoreline, she embraced moments of peace and connection with the world around her.

Her legacy is one of generosity, warmth, and steadfast love. She touched the lives of all who knew her with her gentle presence and her ability to make others feel valued and cared for. Her influence will continue to shine through the family she cherished so deeply.

A private celebration of life will be held to honor her.
