Jane Negus Rush

OXFORD- Jane Negus Rush, 83, of Samuels Court, died Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at her home.Born on June 28th, 1937 in Franklinville, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Warren E. Negus and Kathryn C. Boyer Negus.She attended Grove City College in Pennsylvania and this is where she met and married her late husband, George B. Rush in 1957.They lived in Columbia, SC, several places in Michigan and many years in Hoffman Estates, Ill.She lived the last 40 years of her life in Henderson.
Jane held several jobs over her life including Union Oil in Chicago, Roses Stores and the CM Tucker Lumber Company. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church Henderson where she sang in the choir for many years. She spent some time doing volunteer work including being part of the clean-up Henderson committee.
A private memorial service will be held Sunday, at First Presbyterian Church by Rev. Matthew Copple.
She is survived by her daughter, Catherine Rush-Braswell and husband, Joseph of Durham, her son, George Warren Rush and wife, Linda of Henderson; a granddaughter, Kelly Twisdale, a grandson, Benjamin Rush.
