Janice Henneberger Hartsell

FAYETTEVILLE – Janice Marie Henneberger Hartsell, 94, of Holder Lane, formerly of David Avenue in Henderson died Sunday April 26 2026 at Bethesda Health Care in Eastover.

Born on January 8, 1932 in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Diane Harshman and John Louis Henneberger, and was the widow of Harry Daniel Hartsell.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Henderson, and was formerly employed with the former Citizen Bank where she worked for 32 years.

Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Sunset Gardens by the Rev. George Loveland.

Janice is survived by her daughter-in-law, Denise Holder Hartsell of Fayetteville; two grandchildren, Chris Harsell and Eric (Lindsey) Hartsell; and four great-grandchildren, Austin Gupton, Jeremy Hartsell (Brianna), Taylor Hartsell, and Kane Hartsell; one great- great granddaughter, Brooke Hartsell.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Brian Daniel Hartsell.
