Jason Austin Hedgepeth

Jason Austin Hedgepeth, 52, died unexpectedly on May 2, 2022 in Selma, NC. He was born March 16, 1970 in Richmond, VA to Ronnie and Barbara Hedgepeth. He was a pastor, a truck driver, and a framer at the family business. He enjoyed fishing, visiting with family and being active in his church. A memorial service will be held Friday, May 6, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Harriett Baptist Church by Rev. Will Breedlove. He is survived by his wife, Anita; his sons, Austin and Joseph Hedgepeth; his mother, Barbara, and a brother, Ronnie (known by most as BUD), and his wife, Shira, and their children, Remington, Micah, and Ariel. He was preceded in death by his dad, Ronnie Hedgepeth, and a brother, William Aubrey Hedgepeth. He was a father, a son, a brother, an uncle, a husband, and a friend to all. He was tender-hearted, loving, and over the years he was known to be mischievous at times. He touched many people’s lives and will be missed tremendously.
