April 4, 2014, at his home.Born in Vance County on April 7, 1949, he was the son of Mildred Pace Evans of Henderson and the late Wyatt Graham Evans, and was the widower of Bonnie Parham Evans.Jasper was medically retired from Heartland Homes and was a member of Harriett Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 1pm at Sunset Gardens by the Rev. Will Breedlove.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by one son, Jasper Ray Evans, Jr. and wife, Karen of Aurora, CO; one daughter, Emily E. Barneycastle and husband Garrett of the home; one grandson, Peyton Evans; and one sister, Brenda Patterson and husband, J. T. of Clayton.In addition to his father and wife, he was preceded in death by one brother Larry Evans.
The family will receive friends at the home at 935 S. Carolina Avenue.
