HENDERSON-Jayden Chad Stokes, age 5, died Sunday, January 27, 2013.Born on December 19, 2007 in Vance County, he was the son of Candace Veronica Gorman of Henderson and Richard Thomas "Chad" Stokes, IV of Henderson.
A memorial service will be held Thursday night at 7:00 PM in the J. M. White Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Frank Sossamon.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Alisa Wilson Gorman of Henderson and James Gorman; his paternal grandparents, Cathy Vaughan Stokes and Richard Thomas "Dickie" Stokes,IIIof Henderson; his maternal great grandmother, Judith Buzzell of Henderson; his paternal great grandparents, Irma and Ferrell Gard of Henderson; and his PaPas Glenn Sparke and Tony Denton of Henderson.
The family will receive friends Thursday night from 5:30 until 7:00 PM at J. M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at the home of Irma and Ferrell Gard at 1038 Tower Road.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made the Stokes Family, c/o Irma Gard, 1038 Tower Road, Henderson, NC27537.
Arrangements are by J. M. White Funeral Home.
