Shelby Jean Hughes Fuller, 77, a resident of Peace Street died Monday, October 17, 2022, at Maria Parham Health. Born on January 12, 1945 in Granville County, she was the daughter of the late Curtis Vance Hughes and Annie Mae Summerlin Hughes. Jean was the owner and operator of Jean Fuller Daycare where she was fondly known as “Nannie”. She was a member of First United Methodist Church where a memorial service will be held Sunday, October 23, 2022 at 3:00 PM by Rev. George Loveland. She is survived by her husband, Andrew Glenn Fuller of the home; two daughters, Linda Jackson Fiske (Paul) of Zebulon, and Kimberly Jackson Pederson (Jim) of Raleigh; one son, Henry C. “Clay” Jackson, Jr. (Tati) of Henderson; and one stepson Andrew Glenn “ Billy” Fuller, Jr. of Henderson; seven grandchildren, Morgan Wilkerson (Justin), Chase Allen, Phillip Wesner (Meredith), Sarah Jackson, Jackson Pederson (Jamie), Bryce Pederson, and Colby Pederson; and two great grandchildren, Collins Wesner and Davis Pederson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Henry Clayton Jackson, Sr.; two sisters; and five brothers. The family will receive friends following the service in the Fellowship Hall of First United Methodist Church. At other times they will be at the home.
